I was earning N21,000 monthly and this wasn't just enough. We were in the middle of an economic recession, a new government just came into power and the price of things were increasing with speed.

I had to find a way to make more money, if not "e go rugged oooo!"

Luckily for me, one day while the driver came to take me to work, I was listening to the radio and I heard a guy advertising a seminar where they would teach people how to make money on the internet. It was free so I hurriedly registered and showed up for the event.

In that event, we learnt about blogging, e-commerce, social media marketing, web design and development, etc. I'm glad I attended that seminar.

However...

I made a mistake after the seminar...

I wrote an e-book titled "How to make money online". I did this based on the information I got from the seminar. I hadn't even practiced what I was writing about. I priced this e-book for N500 and ran a Facebook ad....

Nobody bought!!!

I realized that writing the book was a foolish move. You can't teach others what you've not practiced yourself. You're at best a scam.

Before you teach anybody.

I had to advice myself

I told myself "guy you better go and practice what you've learnt so that you can make money".

You know at some point, you just have to give yourself brain.

So I made up my mind to try dropshipping.

Dropshipping is a business model where you make money by being a middle man. Your customers don't need to know you're a middle man.

All you need to do is to find a product, negotiate a good price that will favour you with the seller, and then you resell it as your product and add your profit on top.

I went to a place called Garrison in Port Harcourt. Garrison is the computer village in Port Harcourt.

When I got to Garrison, I met this woman who sells phones. I told her that I'm an internet marketer and I want to resell her phones online, but she had to give me good prices so I could make a profit.

The woman agreed, I took pictures of the phones and then we started doing business. I ran ads and this time I got buyers. In the first week, I did over N150,000 in sales. At that point my eyes got opened to new possibilities. I could legitimately get rich by selling stuff on the internet.

Since then...

I have dropshipped laptops...

I have imported fashion items and gadgets from china for sale...

I have offered graphic design as a service online...

I have learnt how to trade crypto and forex...

I now run an online education company (kaizenacademy.co) where we teach people high income skills that will help them make money online.

I also run a coaching business where I teach entrepreneurs how to make more money by selling and marketing their products the right way.

I have been privileged to be taught by the best internet marketers in Nigeria, the likes of Akin Alabi and Ronald Nzimora.

I have also been featured on TV...

I have written 5 books since then...

Long story cut short, I have made millions from the internet and I'm on a mission to help a lot of people, especially young Nigerians make money legally.

One thing that helped me get started on this journey was knowledge. I attended a free seminar where they taught us how to make money online, and then I implemented what I learnt. 

I also got a lot of free advice and tips from my mentors.

That is why I want to give back.
